  • So, ich habe nur den Client installiert. Alles geht wie vorher. War in ein paar Minuten erledigt. Auf den ersten Blick sind neue Shader erkennbar - Transparenzen werden jetzt besser dargestellt ebenso die Schatten. Ruckler und Nachladeprobleme habe ich auf dem ersten kurzen Rundflug keine festgestellt. Soll kein Lobgesang sein, sondern eher eine erste, aber positive Einschätzung meinerseits.


    Und so habe ich es gemacht:


    1. Install_Client.msi der V5 heruntergeladen

    2. In Systemsteuerung alter Client deinstalliert - wichtig ist hier die Abfrage, ob V5 deaktiviert werden soll - natürlich nicht!

    3. Dann einfach Install_Client.msi aufrufen - Installation läuft dann automatisch ab.

    4. Neustart


    Alle Einstellungen bleiben erhalten.

  • Hab's etwas ausführlicher gemacht und die Shader sowie die prepar3d.cfg ebenfalls erneuert. Alles scheint erstmal wieder rund zu laufen, allerdings hat sich an den Ladezeiten (200 Orbx-Szenerien per XML eingebunden) für mich sehr wenig verändert.

  • Was allerdings wirklich klasse ist (die Regler stehen ziemlich weit rechts): in Orbx LOWI mit Austria pro HD ohne Wetter und Flight1 GTN in der Alabeo Seminole 50 fps. Da geht der P3D5 mal ab wie Schmidts Katze :yep!

  • Nicht so gut gefällt mir, dass der "natürliche" Dunst in der "TrueAir"-Darstellung offensichtlich kräftig reduziert wurde. Damit bekommt der P3D5 ein wenig das Comic-hafte Flair von X-Plane. Ich hoffe hier auf ASP3D und ASCA, wenn die Connection demnächst klappt.



  • Auch ältere, transparente Parts wie Zäune etc. in den 32-Bit-Szenerien werden jetzt korrekt (Cockpit innen und außen) dargestellt. Außerdem ist das Flackern, beispielsweise von doppelten Texturüberlappungen, jetzt komplett verschwunden... Da muss ich sagen: Hut ab.
